Andy McGuire
Executive Director
Team Member since 2012
Andy McGuire is the Executive Director of the George Daily Community Auditorium. For the past ten years, he’s been working with the community’s Arts & Culture sector to help grow the community’s creative ecosystem and the economic impact of the arts to benefit the entire region.
Before transitioning to the Executive Director Position, Andy was the organization’s first full-time Education Director. He has spent most of his professional career as a theatre teaching artist and stage director for multiple theatres around the Midwest in Minneapolis, Des Moines, and Chicago.
He’s made it a goal to be a part of a community where he can participate. Andy has found that if you give more than you take, work together, make everything count, and share what you can, a lot of little can build an awful lot.
